Manicuring

This course combines our advanced concepts in a comprehensive curriculum. Manicuring, Pedicuring, Nail Design, Artistry and several Nail Extension Lines are used for instruction.

Esthiology

This course is a comprehensive combination of Lecture, Demonstration, Practical Experience, and Professional Business Management Skills, required for success in the skin care field. Estheticians are skin care specialists who enhance the skin beauty through the use of facials, massage, and makeup.

Our Facilities / Campus Housing

The Model College of Hair Design was established in Minneapolis in 1952 and relocated to St. Cloud in 1973. Approximately 12,000 square feet of clinic, classroom and offices were created with students of cosmetology in mind. When you tour our campus you will find our college to be unique to say the least! By offering students a low student/instructor ratio we ensure that Model College of Hair Design remains small to midsize. Our campus, however, is large with over 100,000 sq. feet and ten campus buildings for a wide range of student housing.

Student/Instructor Ratio

Our student to instructor ratio at the Model College of Hair Design is ten to one. Model College is a small college with certified instructors. You will have the opportunity to interact with the students and faculty representing a diversity of backgrounds and experiences. There is always someone to offer advice and assistance...a roommate, a teacher, a counselor.
