At Unlimited Beauty Institute, students may complete day or evening classes to become cosmetologists, nail technicians, or beauty industry instructors. Students begin at the "grasshopper" level with classroom training, then move to the "mastery" level, where they spend more time working on the clinic floor to perfect their skills. Students may complete Unlimited's 1,500-hour cosmetology program on a full- or part-time basis. Courses cover the history and science of cosmetology; hair cutting, styling, and coloring; salon ecology; manicures/pedicures; skin care; and more.
Manicuring training can be completed in either a 400- or 600-hour program. Students can expect to learn the history and techniques of manicuring, manicures and pedicures, acrylic or gel applications, wraps, nail art, and more.
The instructor training program takes 600 hours for future cosmetology instructors or 300 hours for those wishing to teach manicuring.
